This past Saturday we had the grand opening ceremony for Minerva Forest. It was a fun event with many people turning out for a good time with music and food.

In true camping fashion we had a grill setup and cooked a variety of foods from different world cultures, all prepared by our camp staff.
Everything was delicious!

Mr. Shoji gave a welcoming speech, and then we heard from some of our honored guests, before digging into the delicious food, and hearing live music from a number of guests.

The weather even turned good as the day went on, despite warnings that it would be very rainy. All in all, it was a fun day and a warm way to welcome the start of Minerva Forest.
